Free Play!

From Maital:

Due to extenuating circumstances, the instead of being a fully staged play, Brazil will not be presented as a staged reading. I still encourage you to come. The actors are talented and the stories they tell will be powerful.

Brazil will be presented at the Lion Theatre at Theatre Row Studios, 410 West 42nd St, at 8pm on the 16th, 17th and 18th of December. Tickets are now free but it would be appreciated if you would reserve tickets through Ticket Central: 212-279-4200 or www.ticketcentral.com.
I hope to see you there!

SantaCon 2008 Tomorrow!

Imagine 2000 people dressed up in Santa suits milling around Grand Central, Central Park, and Union Square. Now imagine one of them is you! One of the perks of living in NYC is the opportunity to participate in silly, large-scale events such as SantaCon. All you have to do is pull together a Santa outfit and show up at 10am tomorrow at the start location which will be posted here at 10pm tonight. The event goes all day and all night!

Here are some photos from last year.

Need a Roommate?

Horses!

Were you one of those kids who read all the cheesy horse books you could find and had a full collection of My Little Ponies? No? Well I was. So for all you nerdy horse-lovers out there, don't miss the American Museum of Natural History's Horse Exhibit showing now through January 4th. The exhibit explores the relationship of horses and humans throughout history from Black Beauty to Barbaro.

Van Gogh at the MOMA

Don't miss the MOMA's exhibit Van Gogh and the Colors of the Night. The exhibit is free with admission, but you have to sign up for a viewing time, so once you go in, be sure to stop by and sign up for an admission time. Go early in the day to make sure it's not sold out! Hurray because the show ends January 5th.
